I've switched to the new version of Outlook but autocorrect isn't on and I can't work out how to turn it on. There is no 'file' option in the new version of Outlook which is where it used to be in previous versions.

I cannot see where to select plain txt or HTML in a new message. This new outlook is miserable.

Found a fix, something Microsoft couldnt even do with their own software apparantly.

Open an email and switch to plain text. then switch back to HTML, and auto correct will begin working like it should be.

    :)

Not only can I not use autocorrect to automatically insert commonly used symbols, e.g. typing *F and getting °F, but the spelling and grammar issue flags (red and blue wavy underlines) only match the words at a particular zoom level. When you zoom to make the text readable, the lines float off their words appearing in seemingly random places on the screen. Completely ridiculous!

I resisted New Outlook for a long time because of a lack of search folders. Now they have a very limited but usable version of that and I finally switched to New because of the better integration with To Do. Now I'm finding that the some of most basic features of the text editor are missing or broken. You can't insert symbols either - only emojis. Really?

Microsoft, you do realize that many of us are forced to use your software for work? Do you still care about office productivity?

I agree. It has to be on here. That is super annoying and makes things take a lot longer. At least in editor, you should be able to make any intials or words change to whatever you want. For example, I used to make b/c spell out because.

At last I am able to stop auto correct capital letters after period. So to me it seems like something happens.
Would be nice if Microsoft put up a roadmap for planned changes to new Outlook.
Or maybe there is one that I have not found.
