Outlook Calendar not showing changes to linked Google Calendar

I too am having this issue. Using the new Outlook on Windows 10.

I synced my Google calendar to Outlook by adding an internet calendar and using the secret address in iCal format. I am able to see all of the currently existing events that were already created in my Google calendar on Outlook.

However, I do not see any changes I make to existing events or new events I create.

I've already tried the delete/re-add method in Outlook. That is not an acceptable solution, and it also didn't even work.

I was able to sync correctly my Internet Calendar disabling Cache under primary account.

Go to Account Settings->Email tab

Double click on Mail address, and disable Offline Settings, unflag option "Use Cached Exchange Mode to download email to an Outlook data file"

After Outlook client restart you'll be able to Add New Internet Calendars under Account Settings.

When you finish subscription configuration using Refresh button your new Calendar will be updated immediately.

That's an interesting suggestion. But my Gmail calendar doesn't show up as an Internet Calendar, but is a Shared Calendar using the shareable calendar link. As a Shared Calendar it seems with the Cached Exchange turned off, that it doesn't update the calendar at all, even with new events, let alone update changes to existing events.

Yes, have the same issue. I don't show a cache option at all. I'm running Windows 11, Office 365. When I add the calendar, which I've removed and reloaded several times, it just shows a static snapshot of the current google calendar (using the secret iCal method), but then does not update additions or deletions (definitely not within hours of the change, so suspect never).

It's almost like Windows does not want to play nice with Mac/Google and the iCal option.

I have also added the google email inbox to see if that was the source of the static view, but it did not fix the issue.

But in the New Outlook, it seems setting it up as an Internet Calendar, and not a Shared Calendar, may have worked. Though I do not like the new Outlook generally and wish I didn't have to use it.
