I have 2 shared Google calendar that I have added to my Outlook calendar using the Google "secret address in ical format". When new things get added, I can see them in Outlook, but if an event is changed (description for instance or time), the changes don't sync to the Outlook calendar. The same thing happens with deleted events; they aren't removed from my Outlook calendar. Some of the changes were made more than a month ago and still have not synced, but new entries have synced. I have tried deleting and re-connecting the calendar. I've attached an example of the changes not shown for one of the calendars.
I just got a new computer with Windows 11. I was having this same problem on the previous computer using Windows 10.

Update: Updates from my Google calendar are still working. Any updates are NOT immediate...maybe a few hours delayed even when I do a "Send/Receive All Folders" manually. I'll accept this behavior as it is better than nothing.

- Are you using the new Outlook for Windows or classic Outlook for Windows?
- Please kindly try removing the Google calendar from Outlook and then adding it back again to check the result. To do this, please follow these steps:
- In Outlook, go to the "File" tab and click on "Account Settings".
- Select "Account Settings" again from the drop-down menu.
- Click on the "Internet Calendars" tab.
- Select the Google calendar that you want to remove and click on "Remove".
- Click "Yes" to confirm the removal.
- Close the Account Settings window.
- Restart your outlook desktop client.
- Go back to the main Outlook window and click on "Open Calendar" in the ribbon.
- Select "From Internet" from the drop-down menu.
- Paste the Google "secret address in ical format" into the box and click "OK".
- Give the calendar a name and click "OK" again.
- Please also kindly use your account to login OWA(outlook web app) and then check whether you got the same error in outlook web, thanks.
- I need to double confirm to you: did you add Google Calendar by following the steps mentioned in this official document?

I am having the exact same issue as a lot of other folks have posted here as well.
changes done in the Gmail Calendar aren't updating in Outlook Classic.
Has this issue been solved?
Is there any timeframe to solve this issue?
I finally gave up and started using the "new" Outlook desktop app. The app UI is not as customizable as the "classic" but after I made my gmail account the "primary" account, all updates back and forth between my Google calendar and the new Outlook client worked without any problems.
I am having the same issue. I have added deleted and added again. My google calendar isn't updating in outlook correctly.
Thats good to know. I’d resisted the new UI because it seemed user unfriendly but maybe ill have to give it another go.
