Message Body Font in Outlook Suddenly Small

Yesterday my Outlook updated to a new version. The text of the message body is so small it is useless in the preview pane. The subject line font is huge while the message body font is tiny. What do I have to do to make the fonts the same size? I have tried accessibility text font changes that make it worse. I tried large, medium and small in outlook and it has no effect on the message body font. Preview pane image included. Thank you for your support. I have Windows 11.

Regards,

Tim

you are a god! I just thought I was getting too old but my zoom was stuck at 50%. I do not remember ever changing this setting but now its back to 100%!

Thank you for this suggestion, the fix worked! My trouble with tiny font in an incoming email happened after I accidentally double clicked on an email and opened the separate window. Went back in, reset the zoom, and my font size is back to what I had it set for.

    Hi All!

I stumbled upon the solution by pure happenstance ... it's so dumb!

If you open any email in a separate pane (by double-clicking it), you'll notice that pane has an independent zoom button at the top of the new window:

This zoom button will also change the zoom of your email in the normal reading pane. Somehow mine was set to like 60%, which is why all the text was super tiny. What a dumb setting! No way to change it anywhere else, as far as I can tell 🤦‍♀️

    Hopefully this helps someone!

Yes this worked, but I had to go into the ribbon and make sure it was set to "classic" so I could have access to the zoom feature. Thank You!
