Using New Outlook on Windows for professional communication and productivity
I am having the same problem. You should not have to use the zoom option. At that point the rest of the screen is too large for other use.

Yesterday my Outlook updated to a new version. The text of the message body is so small it is useless in the preview pane. The subject line font is huge while the message body font is tiny. What do I have to do to make the fonts the same size? I have tried accessibility text font changes that make it worse. I tried large, medium and small in outlook and it has no effect on the message body font. Preview pane image included. Thank you for your support. I have Windows 11.

Tim

Someone below posted the answer and I'm going to reply with it as well to give it a bump-
if you double click a message, you open a separate panel that has a zoom option up top. You can control the zoom there which ONLY controls the message windows -__-. This fixes the stupid issue.
Why do you need to open a new panel for this control if it affects the panel when it's closed? yeah no idea. bad UI.
There is no Settings on my Outlook page. Where are we starting? The zoom slider on the bottom right does not work. Control + does nothing. I can change the font size in messages but the list of emails is still tiny. I have set my monitor to have large icons and increased the overall font size, but the Outlook is still so tiny I can barely read it.
Hi! This is my issue as well. But I did wish to thank Rita for trying with a good heart and intention.
I inadvertently clicked in the body of my email shrinking the font size to almost nothing. All other font settings remained the same in the list of emails and other apps. I tried Rita's fix, but that worked for ALL fonts. Will keep following the threads. Thanks to everyone for trying to help.
