Message Body Font in Outlook Suddenly Small

Yesterday my Outlook updated to a new version. The text of the message body is so small it is useless in the preview pane. The subject line font is huge while the message body font is tiny. What do I have to do to make the fonts the same size? I have tried accessibility text font changes that make it worse. I tried large, medium and small in outlook and it has no effect on the message body font. Preview pane image included. Thank you for your support. I have Windows 11.

Regards,

Tim

    Hello,

To fix this issue try following these steps:

    1. Click on any email
    2. Hover your mouse over the body of the email
    3. Press 'Cntrl' + 'Scroll' to zoom in/out to your preferred %.
    4. This should now hold the setting and be resolved for the text body of emails.

We just had the same problem and found the solution! If you go to Home --> View --> Zoom you can fix just the email body view. Hope this helps!

This did it for me! I almost never open a new window for a message so I also never thought to look there but it did change the zoom level inside the normal message list. thanks!

I don't have a "reading pane" that opens when I double-click it...I'm talking about the website, not the app.

I am also using Outlook in a web browser and not the Outlook app. I do have the reading pane enabled, though.

So, I am trying to figure out what you are seeing on your screen in hopes that I can help. Are you looking at an individual email in a separate window like below? If so, try clicking the Zoom option at the top (circled in red below) and set it to 100%.

If you don't see a Zoom option, please post a screen capture of what you are seeing.
