Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Absolutely agree, lack of this basic utility makes me want to revert back to the old version of Outlook. With 30K emails, scrolling is a pain.

I just tried the NEW outlook.
I can sort by names A-Z, but then I have to scroll to find the person.
The old outlook, I could just type the first letter and it would jump to that name.
Is there a setting in the new outlook that allows you to jump to the letter when typed?

after a little bit of searching, the best option is to just revert to the old outlook.
