Outlook sort by name, but can't jump to name

I just tried the NEW outlook.
I can sort by names A-Z, but then I have to scroll to find the person.
The old outlook, I could just type the first letter and it would jump to that name.
Is there a setting in the new outlook that allows you to jump to the letter when typed?

2024-03-22T14:43:58+00:00 Oh, I see. It looks like you're on the web version of Outlook. I'm using the desktop version.
I don't know if that functionality is available in the web version.
