Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
This is a big oversight and extremely frustrating. Have to downgrade to previous version.

I just tried the NEW outlook.
I can sort by names A-Z, but then I have to scroll to find the person.
The old outlook, I could just type the first letter and it would jump to that name.
Is there a setting in the new outlook that allows you to jump to the letter when typed?

Please take a few minutes of programming and fix this issue. Please.
The jump to name by typing the first letters is a function your users have been using for decades.
I cannot use new outlook until this is fixed. Along with tens of thousands of users. It's that important to our workflow.
PLEASE fix this in the new Outlook. I cannot fathom how on earth this feature was removed. It's been almost a year since the first post about this. Do something, Microsoft!!!
This advice is okay but it needs to be done from the New Outlook and most people posting this issue have switched back to the old Outlook.
WHY DOES THIS THREAD EXIST???? If Microsoft is not monitoring it, then what is the point?????????????
This worked for me. Thank you!
