Outlook sort by name, but can't jump to name

I just tried the NEW outlook.

I can sort by names A-Z, but then I have to scroll to find the person.

The old outlook, I could just type the first letter and it would jump to that name.

Is there a setting in the new outlook that allows you to jump to the letter when typed?

    This is pathetic....from 2023 to 2025, they couldnt fix it and they charge 1000s of $$ to corporate. Time for Microsoft alternative.

    I appreciate your attempt to direct us, but i can't follow your directions, I can't find feedback or maybe I am not seeing the Help menu, but clarification is needed

They can further investigate few things based on your submitted information. They can also develop some convenient options in new Outlook for Windows in future based on users' valuable suggestion and ideas.
