Outlook sort by name, but can't jump to name

I just tried the NEW outlook.

I can sort by names A-Z, but then I have to scroll to find the person.

The old outlook, I could just type the first letter and it would jump to that name.

Is there a setting in the new outlook that allows you to jump to the letter when typed?

I switched from Old to New think "Ooh new shiny stuff" .... Boy was I wrong, I was most definitely NOT shiny.

This feature is one of my most used and therefore, within 5 minutes, I was back on the old version.

C'Mon Microsoft, Get this sorted please - If you want people to migrate to your newer tools, at least make sure it has, at the very least, the same features.

My Company forced us to adopt the new version. It is frustrating to see that after one year this is still an issue (for users not for Microsoft who doesn't care).

What you're talking about is the version I used at my company. The one I have now is one I pay an annual fee to use personally. They're not the same. There is no "other settings" on my version. Thanks anyway.
