Disable auto-delete of accepted meeting invites in the *new" Outlook?

The existing Outlook app for Windows has a setting to prevent calendar invites from being automatically sent to Deleted Items* when you accept them. Is this setting available in New Outlook?

Microsoft just announced that starting in 2024, the new Outlook will be the "official" one. I'm really concerned that features like this may be ignored when trying to reach feature parity. So, Is there an official feature request page for this? They exist for other Microsoft products I use, but I didn't find one dedicated to the New Outlook.

Thanks for your help with these topics!

*Deleted Items is the wrong choice even if I wanted this! Archive would be the smarter location for a modern email didn't. (But the best thing would be too simply not do actions the user didn't request!) Thanks again.

C'mon, Microsoft. This was opened in June 2023. The fix for this has gotta be pretty darn small. But that's not even the point. People are paying for your software and yet you don't provide high quality support when they ask for a feature YOU ALREADY HAVE. Please don't ship **** that doesn't work 100% and then force everyone to use it. (Resisting the temptation to say that means you can't ship windows ever again, oh wait, I succumbed).

Hi nice MS person reading this that probably has nothing to do with all this. I hope you're having a great day. Please yell at your boss.

So it's now April 18th 2024,303 days since this issue was reported, acknowledged and accepted as a foresight by MS outlook. We are now being warned in the corner of outlook that 'classic' outlook will be no more and NEW will be the only option,. My question to MS is how many more days do your engineers need to sort this what seems to me basic requirement, if there was a viable option to go elsewhere I would, but as there isn't I can't. Just looks to me that the new software engineers MS are employing are just not very good at their job (sorry to be blunt)?

It is bewildering to me that such a bizarre action as deleting an invite to a meeting I ACCEPTED is a feature and not a bug. It shouldn't take a grass roots movement of user complaints for Microsoft to realize that having this as a default behavior in the first place is nonsensical and annoying, and removing the option to stop it from happening, like older versions of Outlook provided, is even worse than bewildering, bordering on infuriating.

And Microsoft is scratching its corporate head wondering why it is losing market share!
