Disable auto-delete of accepted meeting invites in the *new" Outlook?

The existing Outlook app for Windows has a setting to prevent calendar invites from being automatically sent to Deleted Items* when you accept them. Is this setting available in New Outlook?

Microsoft just announced that starting in 2024, the new Outlook will be the "official" one. I'm really concerned that features like this may be ignored when trying to reach feature parity. So, Is there an official feature request page for this? They exist for other Microsoft products I use, but I didn't find one dedicated to the New Outlook.

Thanks for your help with these topics!

*Deleted Items is the wrong choice even if I wanted this! Archive would be the smarter location for a modern email didn't. (But the best thing would be too simply not do actions the user didn't request!) Thanks again.

That is for Old Outlook, not New Outlook... there is no File button to use. Should be under settings button, but isn't

Actually 'Disable auto-delete of accepted meeting invites' is a very good feature in older outlook. This should continue in new versions also.

I am also facing the same problem that I could not find any meeting requests in my inbox, which i hve accepted.

Many a times sender is sending any attachement for discussions, minutes of meeting for earlier meetings, are available in meeting request.

So requesting Micosoft to work on this and this feature should be included in new outlook versions.

    Thank you,

    Pramod Lele

come on Microsoft, sort this out, completely unnecessary to have this as default, and to remove the option of changing it.... terrible user experience

im with the herd... this needs to be fixed asap, super annoying. I continue to use NEW outlook because I want the dark theme, and just continue to respond to meetings from Teams (not outlook) for the time being.

Again, this option is NOT for the *new* Outlook.
