Disable auto-delete of accepted meeting invites in the *new" Outlook?

The existing Outlook app for Windows has a setting to prevent calendar invites from being automatically sent to Deleted Items* when you accept them. Is this setting available in New Outlook?

Microsoft just announced that starting in 2024, the new Outlook will be the "official" one. I'm really concerned that features like this may be ignored when trying to reach feature parity. So, Is there an official feature request page for this? They exist for other Microsoft products I use, but I didn't find one dedicated to the New Outlook.

*Deleted Items is the wrong choice even if I wanted this! Archive would be the smarter location for a modern email didn't. (But the best thing would be too simply not do actions the user didn't request!) Thanks again.

    WOW! Today is the day, for me!!! I've discovered that I finally have this option inside the New Outlook client!!!

    *** NOTE: SEE Ehret Michael's note below - this was his discovery, herein:

    Now, there is a checkbox in the settings which allows disabling the deleting of invite messages.

    Navigate to View > View settings > Calendar > Events and invitations and unselect "Delete invitations from inbox after responding" in section "Invitations from other people".

    I don't know what kind of magic pull you have over there at MS Support, but I GREATLY APPREICIATE you inspiring them to finally fix this issue we've been dealing with for the last 8 months or so ever since they pushed "New" Outlook on us all.

    I follow the directions exactly but my outlook stops mirroring Ehret Michael's after View > View settings > Calendar > Events and invitations.

    Under Invitations from other people my only two options are "Delete invitations that have been updated by the organizer" and "Delete notifications about forwarded events".

    Neither of which address the original concern of just not deleting invitations at all after responding.
