Disable auto-delete of accepted meeting invites in the *new" Outlook?

Based on your post regarding with "Disable auto-delete of accepted meeting invites in the *new" Outlook?". After thorough research and testing I found that you are definitely right. This particular setting only exists in the classic Outlook and is not yet available in New Outlook for Windows at this moment. Kindly understand that The New Outlook is in a Preview state, and they are still working on the platform/foundation of the application itself. At this stage of the development, luckily, restarting the client is very quick. As an alternative, you can switch back to "Classic" Outlook by turning New Outlook Off.

However, thank you so much for bringing this to our attention, your suggestion is very helpful, and I believe it could make the use of New Outlook even better. Since New Outlook for Windows is still in active development, we will surely raise your concerns to our Product Development Team and hopefully this can be included in the future updates. Thank you for your well thought out reply. I appreciate the time taken to verify that I did not overlook a setting for it.

It's great that you are able to mention this to the Product Development Team! That's actually much more than I was expecting! Hopefully they will see the value in keeping this feature.

Glad for the explanation of where to leave feedback as well. I wasn't sure whether that was the best place, or if there was one of those "Vote for features" types of page that would be better.

(Btw, it really is surprising default behavior for me! I understand that the contents are copied to the calendar entry, but often I'll want to review the information again later that day. It's usually more effort to find where the event is scheduled in my calendar than to find the saved invite.)

It's been 7 months to the date and this isn't fixed yet. Windows 10 suggested me to migrate to the "New Outlook" in Dec 2023. I migrated and now I have to deal with this everyday.

Do you have any timeline to fix this issue for everyone?

Hi Inema,

Same question as from previous person. We are trying to use new Outlook version, but not being able to prevent deleting of invitation are hard blocker for us. Most of the invitation to meetings have content in the email which is highly needed and every time we are accepting event we need to go to deleted items and then move it back to inbox. After using it for a while, I feel like abandoning new version can be best idea for myself.
Do we have any ETA or even information if this problem will be touched anytime soon or we should not expect it and just go back to old version?
