Reply with attachment included

It's amazing how many people request this over the many years, and people still think Microsoft cares about their customers.

Not only have they either not addressed it or said it couldn't be done, you see several work-arounds that private individuals have taken upon themselves to fix the problem. So not only can it be done, it can be done by a 3rd party.

I can't imagine a bigger middle finger from Microsoft.

"What, you want basic feature improvements? Sorry, best I can do is mess up your calendar."

Well that pretty much sucks. It was there before. Why take things out. Nice Work Microsofty

1. Open your Outlook
2. Click File
3. Click Manage Add-Ins button located toward bottom of the Account Information page
   • you'll be redirected to a "search add-ins" page
4. in the search bar type: reply with (attachments) and it will display 2 available options
5. select either of the two "reply with attachments" add in options
   • you'll be redirected to another page with a description of the feature add in
6. Click Add
7. Close out the page and return to Outlook. Search the right side of ribbon for the newly added Reply with Attachments button Note: I don't think this feature works if you've enabled the switch in the top right that says "Try the new Outlook" view ..If you have the new GUI enabled you may have to toggle the switch back to classic view. If you lose your reply with attachment button when toggling between the new and classic view you may follow the same steps above but select "remove" option then add it back to your ribbon

That does work. My point is that, why has Microsoft not made this a normal option already? They said it can't be done, but apparently it CAN be done by a third party.

This seems like a fundamental omission. What's the rationale for there being no option to set 'Reply with original attachments' as your default. Not having it is a pain.
