Reply with attachment included

This would be very helpful for folks that need to add others to an email chain.

My scenario:

Email is received with multiple attachments (many documents and pics), but I need to add a few others directly.

Current options:

1. Reply all, drag and drop the 10 attachments into the reply email, add additional email addresses or @ someone to add them
2. Forward, then copy paste all of the existing recipients, as well as add additional addresses or @ someone.

Two ways to fix this:

1. Reply all with attachments and then I can easily @ someone
2. Forward & include original recipients.

A global titan like MS that had $65B+ in revenue in 2024 should have the expertise to make this happen very easily.

Agree with this Post--a feature that automatically attaches the original attachment (without save and paste, sending original email as an attachment, etc.) would be very helpful. Yahoo mail has this. Really surprised hasn't been added in later iterations of Outlook--seems so obvious. Thanks!

this is very inconvenient that it is not possible to reply with attachments from the previous email. Seems like a basic feature to me that should be available. In previous versions of Outlook it existed, what is the reason for this disturbing change?

Has anyone gotten this to work automatically with VBA?

Been trying on my side but it wont attach the attachments when hitting reply.

Im Admin and have checked that it isnt blocked. I want to add it to "this outlook session" so it works automatically.

Using Outlook Classic when trying to achieve this. Outlook new isnt an option for the end user in this case cause its still missing some functionality.

I have selfcerted and everything is allowed. ive done a few VBA before and it has run well but here nothing happens. 3rd party software feels odd for this kind of function.

Has this been updated yet? It's been 2 years. Surely Microsoft can figure out how to do this. Even if it's a window prompt that says, "Would you like to include attachments in your REPLY?" with a little check box that says, "DON'T ASK ME THIS AGAIN."
