Hi, is there a function in the outlook to "reply" to the message with attachment included? Not asking about copy paste, or drag in or forward. Simple reply with attachment.

Many thanks

Robert

Agreed and cannot figure out the reason why such a great feature needed to be retrieved. I hope Microsoft or our team whoever has done it can explain any good reason or restore it.

There was an add-on that I have used for quite some time in Outlook that was named Reply with Attachment, but just in the last few weeks, I noticed it is now grayed out and can no longer be used. It is easier/faster to use this feature instead of copying and pasting.

    Good day to all,
this feature was part of outlook in earlier editions.

A simple workaround is to use forward instead of reply. This does mean one will have to enter any relevant e-mail manually, but the attachments is included by default.

    OPTIONS! GIVE! US! OPTIONS!!!!!

For whatever the REASON you guys deduced from that thorough research, I get it. Much appreciated. Truly.

BUT, can you at least give us an OPTION!!! God forbid you can hide it deep in the abyss if you will but OPTIONS!!!!

I get to dive deep into that abyss, and CHOOSE to keep that original attachment in my email!!!

Please that's the least you can do!!!

The biggest problem with this is that it requires whoever is receiving to have to open an entirely new email chain as an attachment and then click into the original attachments.

I know that the extra ~2 seconds to add the original recipients is negligible by itself. The issue is that when you compound it by ~100 emails a day it turns into hours by the end of the year and that is not including the extra work if you forget an attachment or forget to add 1 recipient. There should be a way to just simply forward with attachments or reply/reply all with attachments. This should be a quality-of-life update. Sure, there are work arounds, but we are trying to be more efficient.
