After researching how to get it back to how it looked, which was much more in my taste, much easier to navigate, had what I needed and nothing more, - I now see I can't get it back after it was updated. I think i'm gonna completely disgard of this email, I liked how it looked on PC, it was dark, fast, easy to find things, now it's very complicated with a lot of options and tools i have no use for, and it's bright, with small buttons everywhere. The browser version is alright, so that is what I will be using. I will uninstall outlook completely as a program from my PC, as I do not wish to have this update, and it's more trouble and much more confusing and irritating, than helping and good. It will complicate work and how easy it was before, but that's just how it is, when updates are being forced upon people. It's a typical thing of big coperations to do this, so it dosen't surprise me, that some people who think they know it all, make something new, to shove down the users throat, instead of being able to choose ourselves.

Just had the automatic update . I have 5 email addresses and only 1 will work . Tried everything . Just asks for an app password which I get from my microsoft account and it wont sign in to any of the remaining accounts . I use this for work and its crazy how complicated this has become.. And for what reason ????? Off to find another client unless some kind soul can explian how i get this monster to work? Thanks

I can't even click on a calendar invite ics file and have it added to my calendar anymore! I get a message stating that "The new Outlook does not have that functionality yet. You can revert to the previous Outlook if you require that functionality." That has always been a basic function of Outlook! How in the world is the development team not seeing all the issues they have created?! What was a business level product has become a basic app with very little functionality! I also lost all my rules for sorting email into folders and the new rules are so basic, it requires 5 rules to do what one did before. UGH!!

I haven't been able to get multi-account setup accomplished either. It is just another one of the things that no longer works in "new and improved" Outlook!

New Outlook is HORRIBLE. I'm always getting 'Access Denied' messages, it's jarring to look at and overcomplicated to use. Emails don't arrive as they arrive, they arrive in bunches and in order to get a bunch you have to close outlook and reopen, there's no 'refresh' option that I can find. I switched back to the classic outlook, but that didn't appear to send emails that I had sent. Microsoft is determined that we have to use the new version so saying we can switch back is a myth. Horrible, hateful...

It is fantastically terrible. A complete dog's dinner of a user interface, grotesquely over-complicated and a serious degradation of a mail client I have been using for >25 years. Every attempt to revert to the old interface (on a new PC using, forcibly, Win 11) has driven me to distraction. All sorts of plain incorrect suggestions everywhere. After all this time I really want to escape from New Outlook which has been designed so as to bludgeon hapless users with junk email. I hope that somewhere there's an application which will allow seamless transparent migration to a basic front end for those of us who simply want a straightforward mail app without being burdened by unwanted **** and ads. After approaching 3 decades of commitment to "Hotmail" it's not easy to just dump Outlook. Yet again Microsoft has micturated over its loyal customers. I'm the mug who bought a Surface "Pro" 2...
