The new update on OUTLOOK mail, is terrible

After researching how to get it back to how it looked, which was much more in my taste, much easier to navigate, had what I needed and nothing more, - I now see I can't get it back after it was updated.
I think i'm gonna completely disgard of this email, I liked how it looked on PC, it was dark, fast, easy to find things, now it's very complicated with a lot of options and tools i have no use for, and it's bright, with small buttons everywhere.

  • The browser version is alright, so that is what I will be using. I will uninstall outlook completely as a program from my PC, as I do not wish to have this update, and it's more trouble and much more confusing and irritating, than helping and good. It will complicate work and how easy it was before, but that's just how it is, when updates are being forced upon people.

It's a typical thing of big coperations to do this, so it dosen't surprise me, that some people who think they know it all, make something new, to shove down the users throat, instead of being able to choose ourselves.

Agree with those on this post - Outlook is supposed to be functional and helpful, but the new updates have been slowing me down and making my job so much more difficult trying to navigate the new view. I have emailed most people in my organisation to advise them how to change this back to the original settings.

I'm not sure who is in charge of rolling out these updates, but clearly they have too much time on their hands to be coming up with ideas that are not helpful in any way. if it's not broke, please don't attempt to fix it... Just a thought.

I've also noticed that it's not possible to manually amend the timings of a meeting that someone else has sent.

This is somewhat frustrating when you sometimes receive invites for an all day meeting, but are only joining part of the meeting.

    Please kindly reinstate this function.

I can't for the life of me understand why Microsoft is forcing a product that no one wants on us. At least give users the choice. The new Outlook is AWFUL looking.

No. You have to hit the gear just like you do in Outlook.com. It’s a wrapper with mostly code from OWA. It’s not a truly native client.

Wow. I tried this "new" Outlook for 10 minutes then went back to the old. I like my email sorted with the newest messages at the bottom of the list. Try that in the new version. You cannot scroll to the bottom of the list. It just keep loading more and more old messages. Try ctrl+end to jump to the bottom of the list. It doesn't work. Why would I want to see 2 year old emails but not be able to see my latest emails? Major fail!
