The new update on OUTLOOK mail, is terrible

After researching how to get it back to how it looked, which was much more in my taste, much easier to navigate, had what I needed and nothing more, - I now see I can't get it back after it was updated.
I think i'm gonna completely disgard of this email, I liked how it looked on PC, it was dark, fast, easy to find things, now it's very complicated with a lot of options and tools i have no use for, and it's bright, with small buttons everywhere.

  • The browser version is alright, so that is what I will be using. I will uninstall outlook completely as a program from my PC, as I do not wish to have this update, and it's more trouble and much more confusing and irritating, than helping and good. It will complicate work and how easy it was before, but that's just how it is, when updates are being forced upon people.

It's a typical thing of big coperations to do this, so it dosen't surprise me, that some people who think they know it all, make something new, to shove down the users throat, instead of being able to choose ourselves.

I'm just replying to my original message about how horrible this new system is. It is so much more time consuming to do literally everything. THIS IS TERRIBLE. I now have to delete messages to switch to my other emails if I accidently create a new message in another email account. Before it would let me switch between them easily. This is the same for creating a meeting in a separate calendar. I now have to delete the entire calendar event and switch it to the other calendar. This is so inconvenient.

It's also now harder to delete copy in emails where I don't want to forward the entire message to someone else. This doesn't even make any sense why?

Not to mention that I can't easily delete messages. I have to hold the control key and click the space bar on my laptop to see the checkmark option and it's so hard to do. Like it's clunky and keeps shutting it off and I have to redo it a million times. The same with the stupid trash can on the end of the messages. It's harder to click them than the previous Outlook.

This just enrages me and makes me never want to use Outlook again, when I used to like it more than Gmail. F this Microsoft. You lose.

Switch to Ubuntu Linux. Stop taking the blue pill.

Just go away, #troll. This has nothing to do with an operating system. And besides, no email client on Linux can come close to the FULL Outlook desktop version (NOT the version of Outlook this thread is about)!

I could not agree more !

It is obvious, that Microsoft the last decade is introducing new ethics in promoting their products.

In this particular instance, the Microsoft "Lunatic" marketing group, have chosen to promote 365 thru the "free" Outlook which, supposingly is to substitute the existing Mail & Calendar, one of the embeded windows 10 utilities, which all of us have paid for. Despite the fact that he "Free" version of Outlook software is a bad shareware since it takes promotional ads which can not be rid of easily., iOffered version of Outlook t is incomplete (for some imail accounts), sluggish (compared with Mail and Calendar) and complicated (with no particular reason).

As such I would expext Microsoft would withdrow that "product" soon enough, saving the last (if any) remains of descency.
