The new update on OUTLOOK mail, is terrible

After researching how to get it back to how it looked, which was much more in my taste, much easier to navigate, had what I needed and nothing more, - I now see I can't get it back after it was updated.
I think i'm gonna completely disgard of this email, I liked how it looked on PC, it was dark, fast, easy to find things, now it's very complicated with a lot of options and tools i have no use for, and it's bright, with small buttons everywhere.

  • The browser version is alright, so that is what I will be using. I will uninstall outlook completely as a program from my PC, as I do not wish to have this update, and it's more trouble and much more confusing and irritating, than helping and good. It will complicate work and how easy it was before, but that's just how it is, when updates are being forced upon people.

It's a typical thing of big coperations to do this, so it dosen't surprise me, that some people who think they know it all, make something new, to shove down the users throat, instead of being able to choose ourselves.

I can barely use it, I have the CIO reporting to me in my company and I am asking for alternatives until MS fixes this train crash. I cannot find any of the features I was using:

    • We are an international company and to find the language settings to change the proof reading language is a sub menu of the editor settings menu. We work in four languages, that inconvenience alone renders outlook near unusable
    • I can't see how to force send/receive
    • I cannot find how to force a clean up of the account cache or logout to test whether a recent password reset worked
    • The sorting function of the inbox, by far my most used feature, is now in a sub menu under filters; I use that tens of times per day and it is much more inconvenient now
    • The save draft option is so far right that I have to push "more" to find it, are you serious? Encouraging people to not save draft and risk losing their work, nice!
    • In return I feel like I am force fed features of little use such as: add-ins, viva insights and loop components in every screen

The more I use the new version the less I like it.

    Not to mention;

    • Loss of picture format controls - basically the entire ribbon functionality.
    • Loss feature, dragging attachments OUT of an email onto a desktop or file explorer.
    • Get rid of Focus mode - just stop it. We keep telling you we don't want it, get the message.
    • I had to struggle to get the date to read in English (proper - small/middle/large) instead of American (middle/small/large)
    • Settings is useless now, I still don't know where all the add-on controls are.
    • When you reply it doesn't pop out as a separate window??? I want to read other emails to write the new email without clicking another button!! COME ON MS.
    • Still can't get used to left click to autocorrect text, I keep right clicking it.
    • What is this DISGUSTING attachment preview thing? good idea in theory, horrifically executed, also...
    • when you open an attachment, it doesn't open the app on it's own in the task bar at the bottom, it opens excel for example WITHIN the Outlook app icon WHYYYY???? WHYYYYYY? to find PowerPoint/excel/word etc opened from within Outlook (and even files opened through file explorer once you've got one open through Outlook), I have to hover over Outlook!! Madness wrapped in a box this is.

I hope you are seeing all this negative feedback and letting Microsoft know that there will be a mass exodus if they try to force this "New" Outlook on everyone!
