After researching how to get it back to how it looked, which was much more in my taste, much easier to navigate, had what I needed and nothing more, - I now see I can't get it back after it was updated.
I think i'm gonna completely disgard of this email, I liked how it looked on PC, it was dark, fast, easy to find things, now it's very complicated with a lot of options and tools i have no use for, and it's bright, with small buttons everywhere.
It's a typical thing of big coperations to do this, so it dosen't surprise me, that some people who think they know it all, make something new, to shove down the users throat, instead of being able to choose ourselves.

Who comes out with this updates? looks like the techs dont use it at all! Everything is bad! the contact database, the search, the calendar, the email, you name it! Why change something that already works perfect!

... I am switching to Yahoo online email as an email client. Microsoft sucks. One drive ( Sharepoint ) is another piece of hopelessness. How can you ask me to pay for it?
Totally agree with all the complaints. For me its is actually the look. It is visually soo poor I miss emails compared to how they look in Outlook 2010,. If I sit at the PC with 2010 still running on it it is so much clearer than the new version. This back to basics display of text shading/outlines and colours throws away years of visual improvment. Things Microsoft sold us improvments in each upgrade. It actually causes eye strain after prolonged use. Then as other have said, you can't access the calendar so easy. and the Dark or Light options is a joke. It really looks like a pre-release prototype, before the detail is added. What next? Will Microsoft tell us we are being forced to upgtrade to DOS! Are Microsoft taking any notice of their users wishes. I wish they would comment and at least say we hear you.
Definitely a piece of junk for productivity. The old desktop Outlook, when you click on the message title, it is selected and you can select multiple messages with CTRL to delete or move etc. In this new Outlook version, the email opens up when you simply click on the message automatically. Not allowing a user to abide by the security rule of Not opening suspicious emails.. that may have come through undetected for Phishing, malware, spam etc.
To select a particular message to action on, you have to check the left box next to the message. Try doing that for a bunch of emails and you end up missing the box and opening up the message instead.. then have to close to select.
When you work with hundreds of emails in your Inbox, this one click on message opening is a POS feature.
I second this (in addition to EVERYTHING else). I'm so used to being able to CTRL + SHIFT to select a range of email messages, skip some messages from being selected selection, and do CTRL + SHIFT again to select another group of messages together (all without unselecting the prior group--if that makes sense!)..
