After researching how to get it back to how it looked, which was much more in my taste, much easier to navigate, had what I needed and nothing more, - I now see I can't get it back after it was updated. I think i'm gonna completely disgard of this email, I liked how it looked on PC, it was dark, fast, easy to find things, now it's very complicated with a lot of options and tools i have no use for, and it's bright, with small buttons everywhere. The browser version is alright, so that is what I will be using. I will uninstall outlook completely as a program from my PC, as I do not wish to have this update, and it's more trouble and much more confusing and irritating, than helping and good. It will complicate work and how easy it was before, but that's just how it is, when updates are being forced upon people. It's a typical thing of big coperations to do this, so it dosen't surprise me, that some people who think they know it all, make something new, to shove down the users throat, instead of being able to choose ourselves.

Agree with those on this post - Outlook is supposed to be functional and helpful, but the new updates have been slowing me down and making my job so much more difficult trying to navigate the new view. I have emailed most people in my organisation to advise them how to change this back to the original settings. I'm not sure who is in charge of rolling out these updates, but clearly they have too much time on their hands to be coming up with ideas that are not helpful in any way. if it's not broke, please don't attempt to fix it... Just a thought. I've also noticed that it's not possible to manually amend the timings of a meeting that someone else has sent. This is somewhat frustrating when you sometimes receive invites for an all day meeting, but are only joining part of the meeting. Please kindly reinstate this function.

New Outlook is the worst. I used to have the toggle to switch back to the useful version of Outlook. My company's IT said Microsoft forced the new version on us, so we can't go back. My productivity instantly dipped like 50%.

I agree. in Tasks, I used to have screen shots and use it as a proceedure manual, on how to do the tasks. I can't assing tasks and see if they are completed. So many functions are gone. I can't even add columns, rearrage them, or mark as in progress. Agree this app is updated for newbies with very basic application needs.

Agree, at least they incorporated predictive outcomes and tools to go back to the old version if that is what the customer wanted ... that's about the only plus I could identify !!!!! .... I work in the technology industry and I tell you, I see some unbelievable results from deployments that were not very well assessed or tested .... and this NEW Outlook is one such example of an EPIC FAIL !!!!
