The new update on OUTLOOK mail, is terrible

After researching how to get it back to how it looked, which was much more in my taste, much easier to navigate, had what I needed and nothing more, - I now see I can't get it back after it was updated.
I think i'm gonna completely disgard of this email, I liked how it looked on PC, it was dark, fast, easy to find things, now it's very complicated with a lot of options and tools i have no use for, and it's bright, with small buttons everywhere.

  • The browser version is alright, so that is what I will be using. I will uninstall outlook completely as a program from my PC, as I do not wish to have this update, and it's more trouble and much more confusing and irritating, than helping and good. It will complicate work and how easy it was before, but that's just how it is, when updates are being forced upon people.

It's a typical thing of big coperations to do this, so it dosen't surprise me, that some people who think they know it all, make something new, to shove down the users throat, instead of being able to choose ourselves.

    I agree, I find it so counter intuitive and the richness and power unsurpassed by a real GUI is lost. They are trying to webanize outlook.

    The new outlook is indeed very user UNfriendly. For starters it is extremely slow to load and to do anything with. It also does not seem possible to customise the calender colors such as changing the color of the squares around the dates or the background color around the row of dates. I have searched on the net to find out how to do this, but everyone tells me to go to file and options. Well, there is no file button in the new outlook. At least not one that I can find.

    Regarding the email function, it is not possible to insert an attachment in a reply unless you open up the message window fully by double clicking on the message. If you reply in the small message window on the side there is no option to add an attachment.

    This is a classic example of an upgrade that is actually a downgrade. Gmail, here we come.

    Dear Microsoft,

    You had a rather good product with the old mail-app. This new Outlook thing appears broken from the start, it simply isn't good enough. Please, please roll that back.

    The best regards,

    // Jens
