The new update on OUTLOOK mail, is terrible

After researching how to get it back to how it looked, which was much more in my taste, much easier to navigate, had what I needed and nothing more, - I now see I can't get it back after it was updated.
I think i'm gonna completely disgard of this email, I liked how it looked on PC, it was dark, fast, easy to find things, now it's very complicated with a lot of options and tools i have no use for, and it's bright, with small buttons everywhere.

  • The browser version is alright, so that is what I will be using. I will uninstall outlook completely as a program from my PC, as I do not wish to have this update, and it's more trouble and much more confusing and irritating, than helping and good. It will complicate work and how easy it was before, but that's just how it is, when updates are being forced upon people.

It's a typical thing of big coperations to do this, so it dosen't surprise me, that some people who think they know it all, make something new, to shove down the users throat, instead of being able to choose ourselves.

It's horrible. Why are sender addresses and subject lines different font sizes? To see the subject line like I'd prefer, I have to see the NAME IN JUMBO LETTERS. It's stupid. Microsoft, get a clue.

Can anyone confirm if this thread and all of the replies are being actively seen by Microsoft?

Several years ago I provided very detailed feedback on a few major issues with Outlook, and it took me three (3) months of repeated emails and escalations to finally reach a real, LIVE developer at Microsoft by telephone (yes, I was able to reach one of the Outlook devs directly by phone!).

The dev that I spoke to from the Outlook development team is no longer in that position, or gone. So again, can anyone confirm that the real developers are seeing all of this very detailed feedback here?

We have the new version at work and I HATE IT!!!! I have read articles on how to revert back and there is NO toggle switch; NOTHING UNDER THE VIEW OR HELP OPTIONS!!. PLEASE FIND A WAY TO REVERT BACK TO THE OLD VERSION THAT ACTUALLY WORKS! We can't just delete or add programs due to it being an office PC.

The new MS outlook is so bad. I dont get to choose where I want to save attachments, the attachments download popup blocks the reading panel, I can only see the first attachment. I had an argument with a colleague for not sending the correct attachment, which he did, but it was hidden until I clicked the, show all attachments link. The conversations are difficult to expand and it jumps up and down the list of mails when expanded. so bad

I am uninstalling. When I want to add an IMAP account or GMAIL I do not want Microsoft Cloud sync. You should give users options. Sorry.
