The new update on OUTLOOK mail, is terrible

Aside from what others have said about the layout being an atrocious mess, there are a couple of other things I'd call out as reasons I'm going to avoid the switch until there is no choice - and then likely jump ship to new Gmail accounts or something.

1. Font size and spacing: While not much different, it seems like the font has smaller spacing or something. It's much harder to read than the old version. At least give us the option to change the font size in the app because it's tiny. While I do run high resolution, I increase font size by default because having to squint at my monitor just because I want good resolution is BS. I keep my monitor about 2.5 ft. away for a comfortable working distance. I like to be able to increase font size in apps to view comfortably without getting a headache from eye strain.
2. Restore the ability to see number of new/unread emails on the accounts: With the old version, I can look at the roster of email accounts and see when there are new emails in each account. With the new version, I have to click on the account to open the drop down menu then look there. I thought innovation was about streamlining processes, not adding extra steps.

You know that episode of The Simpsons where Homer designs a car? That's what we're looking at here. This is the Homer edition of Outlook.

I guess that can be argued, but only in the sense that one has the option of whether or not to use Outlook in the first place. The truth is, they've changed their interface, we've no choice anymore, and they're betting that we'll get used to it before a better alternative emerges. I'd respect them more if they'd just say that instead of insulting our intelligence.

Oh yes there is.
I just got a message "A newer version of outlook is required to continue".
And the new (appalling) version was opened for me.
It looks like it was designed with a crayon, honestly "iconic literacy" is all very well for removing some internationalization issue, but this just looks childish.

First off it reordered all my folders, back to alphabetical.
So it had to go, as there is no way to reorder folders in the new UI.

Well that meant...
Close New outlook window.
Uninstall the New outlook app.
Find the old app.
Pin it to the taskbar.

I fully expect at some point we'll have no choice.

I had this new version of outlook for some week. But today i rolled back to the old version.

The new outlook is really bad. When try to read/se new mail on this version is no go.

I have a second screen were this app lives on in vertical mode. And the old one is just som mutch better.

I want to see this mail program live on for use in simplicity as it offers today.

I dont need more stuff so it wont work i vertical mode.

I just want to read/write mails and see it in full with out new tabs popping up so i can see the mail e.t.c.
