After researching how to get it back to how it looked, which was much more in my taste, much easier to navigate, had what I needed and nothing more, - I now see I can't get it back after it was updated.
I think i'm gonna completely disgard of this email, I liked how it looked on PC, it was dark, fast, easy to find things, now it's very complicated with a lot of options and tools i have no use for, and it's bright, with small buttons everywhere.
It's a typical thing of big coperations to do this, so it dosen't surprise me, that some people who think they know it all, make something new, to shove down the users throat, instead of being able to choose ourselves.

It's deadly. I had an 'update required' notice from Outlook. It took 24hrs to install. When it was installed, both my gmail accounts were missing and nothing I did would reinstall them. I've had to pay a techie to sort it out. How many times do we need to say the new Outlook is an absolute disaster.

Yes. Dreadful. Difficult to find most recent reply in a thread. Timings on incoming emails are US times. Frequent freezes, requiring not only shutting Outlook down, but sometimes having to close laptop entirely. Every person who comments HATES it, but Microsoft radio silence.
You are right! It looks like an elementary school email. It is too busy, probably for the young people today. There was nothing wrong with the old version. I am at work, and I feel like a child every time I use the email. I will avoid at all costs. If there was a different email that is compatible to the old version of outlook I would change in a heartbeat. This is horrible and frustrating, not to mention hard to navigate.

I hope that Corporation will SOON withdraw this piece of shame, for both the Company Shake and the Integrity and History behind it !
I will also comment that the way that Microsoft introduced the new OUTLOOK, as a substitute of "Mail and Calendar" (the practicability and easiness of which is not surpassed by the new product), introduces serious LEGAL issues - Substitute of a paid consequent module of Windows 10 (Mail and Calendar), with a new trial software-with ads, which forces the user to buy it for taking off the Adds !).
