After researching how to get it back to how it looked, which was much more in my taste, much easier to navigate, had what I needed and nothing more, - I now see I can't get it back after it was updated. I think i'm gonna completely disgard of this email, I liked how it looked on PC, it was dark, fast, easy to find things, now it's very complicated with a lot of options and tools i have no use for, and it's bright, with small buttons everywhere. The browser version is alright, so that is what I will be using. I will uninstall outlook completely as a program from my PC, as I do not wish to have this update, and it's more trouble and much more confusing and irritating, than helping and good. It will complicate work and how easy it was before, but that's just how it is, when updates are being forced upon people. It's a typical thing of big coperations to do this, so it dosen't surprise me, that some people who think they know it all, make something new, to shove down the users throat, instead of being able to choose ourselves.

To be honest, I don't know what's so hard about creating and maintaining an email client (in this case Outlook) that installing an update leads to such aggravation. Microsoft. Please, just for once, listen to your users. I started using Thunderbird myself. No more annoying ads and I do not have to log on to my Microsoft account and become targeted by ads if I peruse MSN news. Log on to anything Microsoft and say goodbye to privacy. So I said goodbye to Outlook. They were warned.

The new Microsoft Outlooks sucks so bad, I don't know what the geniuses at Microsoft were thinking. It is cumbersome to work with not helpful at all and wastes more time. On what planet were the morons at Microsoft thinking when they thought is was a good idea to prevent you from making a comment in the subject line of a email so you have a better reference when you go back to open it. ****

It is fantastically terrible. A complete dog's dinner of a user interface, grotesquely over-complicated and a serious degradation of a mail client I have been using for >25 years. Every attempt to revert to the old interface (on a new PC using, forcibly, Win 11) has driven me to distraction. All sorts of plain incorrect suggestions everywhere. After all this time I really want to escape from New Outlook which has been designed so as to bludgeon hapless users with junk email. I hope that somewhere there's an application which will allow seamless transparent migration to a basic front end for those of us who simply want a straightforward mail app without being burdened by unwanted **** and ads. After approaching 3 decades of commitment to "Hotmail" it's not easy to just dump Outlook. Yet again Microsoft has micturated over its loyal customers. I'm the mug who bought a Surface "Pro" 2...

I haven't been able to get multi-account setup accomplished either. It is just another one of the things that no longer works in "new and improved" Outlook!
