Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
I was recently prompted to upgrade to the new OUTLOOK (out of my control).
Initially, it looked better, but once I started using it, it was nothing short of a disaster, creating a VERY BAD CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE.
When I send an email, I used to easily locate it in the SEND folder, now emails get consolidated, I can't find the email that I sent, and then when I do, it's part of a longer email thread .... this is NOT helpful. I want to quickly find the email that I sent, without drama's.
The new version is %$#@ .... how on earth it got thru user acceptance testing before it was deployed, I shake my head on this.
Please help me roll-back to the previous version that I had before the upgrade.
When Microsoft upgrades, they need to really think about making it EASIER for the customer to do day to day activities, NOT making it a challenge for the customer.
PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!!
Regards,
Sanja
PS. I also agree with other's, MS Outlook was initially designed as a business tool, it is used heavily in the corporate workforce and personally at home. This tool should not be developed to function like a social media platform, where it's very hard to locate historical communications. Even something as simple as copying & pasting an email as an attachment proved extremely difficult, I had to save it as a file, then attach it .. where as before I could locate an email, Ctrl-C .. then go to my new draft email and Ctrl-V .. and we have an email attached to an email!.... why make it so hard to do something so simple !!!!
PSS. Went back to using the old Outlook, thank god for the slido in the top right hand corner, I can now use Outlook like it was before.
PSSS. I'm not resistant to change, in fact I embrace it, but don't make something that was simple before, much harder to do now ... If it was simple before, keep it simple or make it even simpler .. don't go backwards with the change and make it harder for the end user.
