After researching how to get it back to how it looked, which was much more in my taste, much easier to navigate, had what I needed and nothing more, - I now see I can't get it back after it was updated. I think i'm gonna completely disgard of this email, I liked how it looked on PC, it was dark, fast, easy to find things, now it's very complicated with a lot of options and tools i have no use for, and it's bright, with small buttons everywhere. The browser version is alright, so that is what I will be using. I will uninstall outlook completely as a program from my PC, as I do not wish to have this update, and it's more trouble and much more confusing and irritating, than helping and good. It will complicate work and how easy it was before, but that's just how it is, when updates are being forced upon people. It's a typical thing of big coperations to do this, so it dosen't surprise me, that some people who think they know it all, make something new, to shove down the users throat, instead of being able to choose ourselves.

The "new Outlook" is essentially just a website within an "app" frame, so it doesn't support the pop-up panels like a REAL program/app. That's why there are so many limitations with the new Outlook in general. OMG…. How did you get this so wrong, what a mess you made. Who on earth did you make this for ? as it can`t be anything that is business related. You know outlook is a work and business tools for many companies. Right ?

And what happened to keyboard shortcuts?!?! NONE of the keyboard shortcuts no longer work! I'm seriously getting worried in the stomach about the future Microsoft is going with this. This is a **BUSINESS** tool. Not like many have said, a "tool" for tiktokers/social media people 😡🤬😡

I've been dabbling with those third-party apps. The best one I've found (so far) is eMClient. It gets so much right in terms of interface that Microsoft got utterly and horribly wrong with their "New Outlook". I too was excited by the prospect of a new design, only to be horrified by what I experienced with the actual new design. Between this and Windows 11, I now realize that Microsoft has good and truly lost its way in terms of UI design. Every piece of software they produce has an inexplicably terrible UX with inconsistent visuals and hidden/missing features. One day there will be case studies written about how bad this is.

its horrible , disaster , what going on? why did they do something like that , there is no Undo , there is no Copy to email to be as attachment , I copied on email to make it attachment in another email it just copied it into the inbox!! lights and colors are off, not easy to recognize the emails, before when you hover over the calendar without clicking it will show you the meetings you have for today , now you need to double click and go to full calendar screen which is horrible its nightmare i cant work Omari
