The new update on OUTLOOK mail, is terrible

After researching how to get it back to how it looked, which was much more in my taste, much easier to navigate, had what I needed and nothing more, - I now see I can't get it back after it was updated.
I think i'm gonna completely disgard of this email, I liked how it looked on PC, it was dark, fast, easy to find things, now it's very complicated with a lot of options and tools i have no use for, and it's bright, with small buttons everywhere.

  • The browser version is alright, so that is what I will be using. I will uninstall outlook completely as a program from my PC, as I do not wish to have this update, and it's more trouble and much more confusing and irritating, than helping and good. It will complicate work and how easy it was before, but that's just how it is, when updates are being forced upon people.

It's a typical thing of big coperations to do this, so it dosen't surprise me, that some people who think they know it all, make something new, to shove down the users throat, instead of being able to choose ourselves.

It is bloody terrible. I mean outrageous that i open my mail walk away come back to an auto update somehow... and now all the email shows emails from myself as priorities, ....... I am not fiddling around to learn some new **** when i was happy with my basic email. This is the prime example of updating things just to update them.

I ended up having to switch because my Old version kept popping up the window that said I had to log in. The new Outlook is awful just like every other user has stated. Clunky and slow. Can't sort emails by name and select one then resort by subject to see other emails with same subject. Nope it just clears the search option. Now I can't share files from excel or word - just sits and spins. Use our wonderful "one-drive" and you'll be able to connect with everyone - NOT!

    mine updated without permissions.

It's costing me time, extra clicks and errors in invites and emails!

Everything is in a new place, Settings and signatures gone, need to learn how to use it when I was sailing along before. Lame.

Something that used to be a click or two is now 5.

    Can't schedule appts.

    Zoom etc gone.

    Can't stand the changes.

I agree its terrible I was going to try to learn it but having different drop down menus for every single account that I have linked is terrible instead of just having one button on the side per account. I was going to deal with it until I saw that when you send an email it opens a new window, and when you switch what account your emailing from it opens a whole new window as well. They have also made it very compact and confusing.

Total truth! Would be great if someone could post explicit instructions for reverting back to the old version we like way better!
