Our users are unable to use the Outlook To Do app in the Outlook desktop client.

It gives the error "There was a problem connecting to this app". Just doing a quick Google search it looks like a widespread problem. I have a ticket open with MS but no answers yet.

It does work in the Outlook online app.

    Any news from the Microsoft Ticket?
    Unfortunatley the recommended solution offered in this cummunity does not work for our users (delete Office cache folders)

    Reset the Office cache, it should fix the problem:

    1. Close Outlook
    2. Rename or Remove these two folders: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Office\16.0\wef %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\HubAppFileCache

    Re-open Outlook and click the "To-Do" shortcut, and it should open without issue.
