Our users are unable to use the Outlook To Do app in the Outlook desktop client.

It gives the error "There was a problem connecting to this app". Just doing a quick Google search it looks like a widespread problem. I have a ticket open with MS but no answers yet.

It does work in the Outlook online app.

    As a start repair your unknown Office version/ license type

    It works in OWA just not in the desktop client, below is the version. Ran both Quick and Online repair with no success.

    Yes, this is the response I received from MS.

    Unfortunately, the ToDo app was hard coded into January release of Semi-Annual channel in a way that engineering cannot disable it on the backend. Due to this, engineering made the decision that the best thing to do was move forward with enabling the To Do client app to be able to work with GCC Moderate accounts.

    I understand that the fix is was included in the Version 2303 which (Build 16224.20000) was released to the Beta Channal on February 28, 2023 and Version 2303 is expected to be released into the Current Channel: April 11, 2023.

    Thanks for that info! That lead me straight to what I needed to see. The release notes for the current Preview release of Office confirms the fix. I've installed this on several machines and can confirm that it's fixed. With this preview coming out at the beginning of this month then I do bet it will be included in the April release.
