Our users are unable to use the Outlook To Do app in the Outlook desktop client.

It gives the error "There was a problem connecting to this app". Just doing a quick Google search it looks like a widespread problem. I have a ticket open with MS but no answers yet.

It does work in the Outlook online app.

    I have the same problem. Microsoft support ticket open for a month now, but no progress

    I am still getting this error when I try to open To Do on the left pane of my Outlook client and I have the latest version of Outlook client.

    Looks like the "new look" version i just tested diverts the app to the online ToDo page rather than opening the local app inside outlook. i.e

    Yes, that is what we were getting but it started working about a month ago and it still is.
