Our users are unable to use the Outlook To Do app in the Outlook desktop client.

It gives the error "There was a problem connecting to this app". Just doing a quick Google search it looks like a widespread problem. I have a ticket open with MS but no answers yet.

It does work in the Outlook online app.

    How this was resolved for one of our users:

    Client had a 22+ GB Outlook account, and a 349 downloads (many dupes-one spreadsheet alone had 38 revisions) and some other data, and only a few MB left on his hard drive.

    Cleared out a little over 21 GB and his Tasks started working again

    Note: Prior to clearing his HDD, I had done Win+R (Run) and ran outlook /resettodobar - which did not work initially, but may have had an effect on the final outcome.

    Hmm, I'm on the same version and build but it still doesn't work... have resorted to installing the To Do website as an 'app' in Edge so that it opens in a standalone window and I can open from the taskbar. Hopefully it starts working within Outlook soon!

    My client got updated to the version below and the To Do does not open up but gives the same error. Microsoft better look into this, I am getting more users that are frustrated.

    Update: Not sure what happened tried it again this afternoon and it is working. I will see if it is also opening on the rest of my users clients.

    Anyone have any updates on this? Keen to get it working given the feature is "there" in the navigation bar.
