Inbox is not full, all filters are reset.
Missing emails can only be seen when using the search bar.
This issue occurs on phone and laptop, even after reinstallation of Outlook.

None of the solutions mentioned in this thread have helped.
MY KLUDGE: I've basically found the "External" folder in my folder listing, and dragged it right below "Inbox". This way I at least know where the emails are going, and they're accessible.
Nothing else has helped - although for the known senders I keep making rules to move them into recognizable folders. Rules in Outlook for Mac btw is another example of horrible design. Setting them up should be much simpler.
Well, it worked here, i.e. Exchange on-prem, mails are shown on mobile devices and OWA, not in OL. Cause: If the message is part of a conversation (multiple mails on the same topic), you have two options: The one I mentioned above or just expand the root mail of that topic, and you will see all mails.
The reason you can see the mails in OWA and other mobile devices is that they don't have this conversation feature.
Hi, I was able to resolve this issue, simply uncheck the "Show as conversation" box in the View Settings panel.
Cheers.
