I am seeing the same problem. Any answers from Microsoft?
My inbox is not showing on the left column under Favorites. It used to be;
Favorites
Inbox
Sent items
Deleted items
but now it is;
Favorites
Sent items
Deleted items
How do I get it back?
Hello, please see my responses to the clarification questions below. I believe this issue started this Monday, May 1, 2023.
On my phone, the Outlook app I noticed that the missing emails are all labelled "RSS Feeds". After this issue started, I went into Outlook's advanced options and checked the boxes to sync my RSS Feed, this had no apparent effect.
1. Send/Receive does not show missing emails
2. I am worried about trying suggested fixes # 2, 3, and 4 without supervision. I do not want to accidentally delete or alter system files.
Dear Connor Markart
Thank you for your reply and all the efforts you have made to troubleshoot.
I understand your concerns and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. In order to better investigate your situation, I would like to gather some information, thank you very much.
Outlook email display issue may be with internet connection issues, Outlook folder default view settings issues, insufficient space in Outlook mailbox account, AutoArchive settings, PST file corruption, etc. Notice that you mentioned " inbox is not full and all filters are reset". Let's try the other methods:
1.
Use send/receive for instant synchronization
Navigate to the Send/Receive tab located at the top panel of the MS Outlook interface.
Click Send/Receive All Folders and give it some time to complete the process.
Once done, check if your inbox shows all your emails.
2.
Open Outlook and click on File -> Options.
Go to the Advanced tab and select AutoArchive Settings.
A new window will open. Uncheck the box beside AutoArchive Every option.
Click on the OK button twice.
Restart Outlook and check if the emails are back in Inbox.
Users may also open archive.pst file on Outlook and then use Move to Folder option to transfer the emails to Inbox.
3.
Repair Outlook Data Files (.pst and .ost) - Microsoft Support
4.
Create an Outlook profile - Microsoft Support(Please do not delete the current profile as yet to prevent any data loss)
