Outlook inbox not displaying all emails received.

Please help, Outlook inbox is not displaying all emails received.

Missing emails do not appear in focus, other, or junk inboxes.

Inbox is not full, all filters are reset.

Missing emails can only be seen when using the search bar.

This issue occurs on phone and laptop, even after reinstallation of Outlook.

    I have no emails in my Outlook inbox since this PM. Please help me restore my emails.

    So unfortunately I can't add a picture since I already did it. Everything was on outlook desktop. But like everyone else when I did a search it showed everything that I had received today but the "straight" inbox only showed e-mails up to 2 AM this morning. However the next item in the search window was a blank event something or other. Since it was blank and I had no idea what it was, I just deleted it to clean out my inbox. However, on the other outlook window I had open (inbox one) suddenly all the missing e-mails appeared. Hope this helps someone.

    This is a bug in Outlook - I regularly check my email, but not all messages appear. It even shows that there are unread emails, but they do not display in Outlook. If I check with the web version, they are there:

    I had exactly the same problem with missing emails that showed up in a search. Unfortunately for all the above advice my problem was resolved by closing outlook and opening again.

    But also yes it had created a duplicate ost file

    The issue was eventually solved, my Outlook data files cache on my computer somehow created multiple copies of itself (shown below).

    The issue was resolved by going into Outlook account settings and disabling the use of cached data.
