Outlook showing "from" field when replying to an email addressed or cc'd to me

Very recently, don't know the exact date, when replying to an email, addressed to me or I'm cc'd, Outlook shows the "from" field (with my email address, no other account).

I have one email account, I cannot find a solution to stop this from appearing, it doesn't impact anything, just it never used to show it, now it does.

It doesn't appear if I create a new email (wouldn't expect it to, as I only have one account), It also doesn't appear If I reply to an email that doesn't name me but am part of a mail group.

Anyone else have this "issue", a workaround or is there a fix?

    This regression bug was introduced more than 6 months (a year?) ago. Why can't Microsoft fix it? Out of their skills?

    New versions of Outlook and Office programs always mean more regressions introduced, much more than any benefit from some scarce bug fixes and mostly useless new functionalities. A pity that the company where I work won't block these painful updates... :(

    At home I can use a version 2003 of Microsoft Office: much less bugs (and these have mostly never been fixed in 20 years), much more efficient UI, faster software, no missing significant functionalities...

    September, 22nd 2023 and I have the same issue after a company wide update to Office took place yesterday.

    Extremely annoying.

    Please fix this asap.

    Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Preferences and set ShowFrom to 0 again. Close and relaunch Outlook.

    This was annoying me as well with Microsoft® Outlook® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2307 Build 16.0.16626.20198) 32-bit
