Outlook showing "from" field when replying to an email addressed or cc'd to me

Very recently, don't know the exact date, when replying to an email, addressed to me or I'm cc'd, Outlook shows the "from" field (with my email address, no other account).

I have one email account, I cannot find a solution to stop this from appearing, it doesn't impact anything, just it never used to show it, now it does.

It doesn't appear if I create a new email (wouldn't expect it to, as I only have one account), It also doesn't appear If I reply to an email that doesn't name me but am part of a mail group.

Anyone else have this "issue", a workaround or is there a fix?

    Hello Team,

    I have the same issue. I am starting in a new company (After 4 months I was off) and I am setting up my outlook and I had the same issue whenever reply or forward a message, it still shows the "from" field, and I only have one account of outlook. It is annoying and confusing.

    Does anybody knows about any update? Incredible one year and half and no answer.

    1.5 years later, the issue disappeared for me after the company upgraded the Outlook to version 2408 a few weeks ago. Hope it will stay this way.
    Whatever I tried with the older versions did not work.

    I'm currently on Microsoft® Outlook® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2410 Build 16.0.18129.20100) 64-bit
    and it's still showing the "from" field when replying, if I'm mailed or CC'd

    Also on 2410 (18129.20116 Click-to-Run) and still getting the from field, when replying or forwarding, if I'm listed as a recipient. If the original message was to a distro I'm on, I don't get the from field on reply. Also, when I do get the from field, it doesn't contain the email address I use as default, but rather my domain username @ my domain.
