Outlook showing "from" field when replying to an email addressed or cc'd to me

Very recently, don't know the exact date, when replying to an email, addressed to me or I'm cc'd, Outlook shows the "from" field (with my email address, no other account).

I have one email account, I cannot find a solution to stop this from appearing, it doesn't impact anything, just it never used to show it, now it does.

It doesn't appear if I create a new email (wouldn't expect it to, as I only have one account), It also doesn't appear If I reply to an email that doesn't name me but am part of a mail group.

Anyone else have this "issue", a workaround or is there a fix?

    I suspect it's an issue of this report not getting to anyone who can do something about it. Perhaps it's not getting through whichever group determines importance for personnel allocation.

    I thought I would eventually get used to it and not care after a while. It still annoys me 5 days a week though..

    Something has changed, it now works, well done MS (about time!)

    No Idea why I posted that, It's still showing the from field in replies, so no it isn't fixed...!

    This just started happening to me and about half of our office today and only on reply and forward. I tried everything in the thread and it's only temporary.

    I see these posts from 2023 so doesn't make me feel good as if it's an easy fix.

    I am also not sure if I should feel slighted that It only just happened to me or pleased that I got a pass until now.

    I assume no one has a permanent fix yet? it's it really annoying.
