Group emails have stopped sending

I have had a hotmail account for years , 2 years ago I created a 2nd hotmail account to use for my choir. Within this I made a group so that I could email all 34 members in one go.

This has worked fine until Friday when they are sending and come back saying “the recipients email system isn’t accepting messages now. Please try resending your message later or contact the receipient direct” further down it shows Remote server returned 421 4.3.2 Service not available.

I have tried sending from the choir email and my own and it doesn’t work. I can send emails to individual members and get replies and if I put all members in individually it will send to all 34 at once .Have tried deleting group and making a new one and it still won’t go……any ideas please

User Impact: Users may be unable to send email to Outlook.com groups.

More info: Users that encounter this problem receive an error stating there was a delivery failure to the recipient.

Current status: We're reviewing available service telemetry and user-provided data to assess the cause of this problem and how we'll resolve it.

    OMG it is August and this is still an issue for me, as it was in July as well. When is this going to be fixed.

    Everything says this is fixed and OK but it isn't! Yes my group mails now send but myself and everyone else using the group gets an error message about mts.outlook.com not existing and some random email address that isn't even in the group can't be delivered.

    I had the exact same issue. If you re-create the group with a different name the problem should go away. It worked for me

    I went Scott's route with no problems. The one group I recreated with the same name works but you have to be mindful when you address your email as the old name and the new version of the old name will both come up as options. The new version for me was the old name followed by a 5- or 6-digit number. Using it works; using the original does not work. Completely new name for the group is the cleanest solution.
