What happened to daily calendar view on new Outlook?

I started using the new Outlook yesterday and it mirrored my current Outlook which was great. My current Outlook, in order from left to right, has my folders, inbox, reading pane, and daily calendar on the far right. Now this morning the daily calendar on the far right is missing. I have been all over the app and cannot locate where I have the option to add it back to the view. I see where I can modify the reading panes but that is it. Help?

    Exactly! I want to see the calendar all the time - without covering up the preview pane.

    I switched back to the one layout, having the calander in the email view is a massive asset.

    From what I found, it is a lost feature...guess I won't be using the new until that is carried over.

    Same here. If Microsoft monitor this forum, I will not switch until this feature is added
