What happened to daily calendar view on new Outlook?

I started using the new Outlook yesterday and it mirrored my current Outlook which was great. My current Outlook, in order from left to right, has my folders, inbox, reading pane, and daily calendar on the far right. Now this morning the daily calendar on the far right is missing. I have been all over the app and cannot locate where I have the option to add it back to the view. I see where I can modify the reading panes but that is it. Help?

    I believe the question is in regard to the New Outlook, not the standard version. To turn on the Daily Calendar view in the New Outlook is easy, but not obvious, it's like using an Apple product, you need to decipher the hieroglyphics. To the left of the gear icon on the top right of the title bar is a calendar icon which should turn the view on and off.

    I've reverted back to "OG Outlook" due to this issue. I have dual 32" 4K monitors and I have the right monitor set with Outlook on the left "snap zone," with Teams and Telegram Desktop on the right top and bottom snap zones respectively. OG Outlook has no issue with this, showing the folder pane, message list (top) and reading pane (bottom) along with the "peeked" calendar and task views without overlapping anything.

    With the same layout enabled on New Outlook, the message list and reading panes are obscured on the right by the calendar ("My Day") peek unless I expand the window horizontally, where it no longer fits in the display's left-side "snap" zone.

    I suppose I could switch to PowerToy's Fancy Zones and define a custom layout that shrinks the horizontal width of the Teams and Telegram windows, but I'm used to the native Windows 11 "snap" tool. It doesn't help that I'm also old, inflexible and grouchy.

    PS. Also hate the fact that Tasks/To Do in "My Day" no longer displays overdue tasks. I mean, Seriously? I never get stuff done on time these days.

    From what I found, it is a lost feature...guess I won't be using the new until that is carried over.

    I saw the icon, I used the icon....I can't get it to pin & stay visible & not overlay my email message preview pane. That's how the old outlook would work.

    Right now, we would like to know if you are able to find the option you are looking just by following the steps we provided from our previous reply.

    Or are you able to find it using an alternative way?
