How to stop outlook from opening a browser every time I create a meeting?

Just for awareness the OWA Team is working on a fix for this issue. I don't have an ETA yet but it is being worked on with priority. The last update is the fix is in code review so hopefully release soon.

I have one user at a client experiencing this issue. The only difference here is that Outlook is launching the browser on application start every time. No user interaction besides clicking the Outlook shortcut to launch.

We are running the latest stable release, and OWA is disabled in M365.

The fix is being tested so hopefully it will release soon. It will be a service side fix from the OWA Team. If I get more specifics on release build or time I will post back.

Can't wait for the fix to make it to my laptop!

My peers that work on Calendar are adding a Known Issue for it. I will post back with the link once I get it. Latest update is ~three weeks out for the fix.
