Can you provide the link to that forum? We are also dealing with this issue now.

Its only a Reddit forum, however I have yet to see the issue listed anywhere else.

I have the same issue. Exactly as above

When they would create a meeting a webpage for

https://outlook.office.com/opx/\*\*user\_email\_address\*\*/roompanel/?hostApp=outlookdesktop&culture=en-US would attempt to open and because their account has Outlook on the Web disabled the page would get stuck and never resolve.

I see the first post on this is in August, now it's November and all Microsoft said was According to my test result, create new meeting in Outlook won't open browser. Your scenario shouldn't be an expected behavior based on my experience.

Why can't you fix a bug like this faster? We're literally paying you thousands for this and this is the customer service we get?

We have the same issue with 2 clients.

One is inside the calendar the other is on the activity feed.

I've set everything to defaults and still an issue.

outlook /safe is the only way to stop it.

    Very annoying.

Microsoft please fix and the users are complaining about this.
