How to stop outlook from opening a browser every time I create a meeting?

My peers that work on Calendar are adding a Known Issue for it. I will post back with the link once I get it. Latest update is ~three weeks out for the fix.

I apologize for the delay. We are working on getting this posted as a Known Issue but it's taking longer than expected.

I still have an issue with the opx/activityfeed popup that BenTheITGuy mentioned when Outlook is opened (this happens with my client that has OWA disabled). That reddit fix did not affect my issue. It may affect the opx/roomfinder popup though.

I'd be happy to know when these problems was put on the known issues website, is there an ETA when it will get posted there? Then I can at least point my clients to a page that makes it clear Microsoft knows this is a problem.
