Every time I click on New Meeting it opens my browser and its very frustrating. How do you shut this functionality off?

We have the same issue with 2 clients.
One is inside the calendar the other is on the activity feed.
I've set everything to defaults and still an issue.
outlook /safe is the only way to stop it.

I have the same issue. Exactly as above
When they would create a meeting a webpage for
https://outlook.office.com/opx/\*\*user\_email\_address\*\*/roompanel/?hostApp=outlookdesktop&culture=en-US would attempt to open and because their account has Outlook on the Web disabled the page would get stuck and never resolve.
I see the first post on this is in August, now it's November and all Microsoft said was According to my test result, create new meeting in Outlook won't open browser. Your scenario shouldn't be an expected behavior based on my experience.
Why can't you fix a bug like this faster? We're literally paying you thousands for this and this is the customer service we get?
Its only a Reddit forum, however I have yet to see the issue listed anywhere else.

Can you provide the link to that forum? We are also dealing with this issue now.
