Every time I click on New Meeting it opens my browser and its very frustrating. How do you shut this functionality off?

Great, Thanks!
Just for awareness the OWA Team is working on a fix for this issue. I don't have an ETA yet but it is being worked on with priority. The last update is the fix is in code review so hopefully release soon.
Yep, it is back again. Stayed away for a few weeks, now is back several times per day. I keep doing the above workaround, but it keeps coming back.
I experience this every day when I create meetings. Just happened this morning. Only began happening with the last update. Please fix because it is very annoying.
Version 2212 (Build 15928.202616) -- All users impacted even with the latest release of "Current Channel" Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise
Check/enable the permission Email App "OWA" and check/enable the license option "Office for the Web" then the extra windows do not present when using calendar, creating an invite or launching a meeting all work without the extra windows.
Microsoft Clients restrict OWA access due the ease of data breaches through "Outlook on the Web" interface, therefore Email App "OWA" and "Office for the Web" are disabled.
Microsoft Office Business Scenario that needs to be resolved is: Outlook Desktop App only, iPhone Exchange Active Sync for Mobile. Using Microsoft 365 Apps current channel with Email App OWA/Office for the Web disabled*.* No extra windows should being popping up when using the calendar, creating an invite or launching a meeting. This issue is now over 60 days old and the extra windows are still an issue creating high level of frustration among Microsoft 365 App Enterprise users.
